These historic murals in the Majestic Theater in San Antonio, Texas were painted on canvas in the 1920's and adhered into the ceiling niches in the theater's entrance. Decades of water damage had caused much of the paint to separate and flake off of the canvas. The murals were carefully removed and restored in studio, which included re-stabalizing the loose paint, repairing of tears and inpainting the gaps in the mural where paint had flaked off.
